Hotel is undergoing renovations. The room was updated. Still had an old stale cigarette odor. They need to replace carpets and linens. We got a jacuzzi room thinking it was a suite like the pictures and were disappointed when we got to the room and found a one person jetted tub next to the bed, not a big jacuzzi tub. After unpacking and getting the tub ready we tried to turn it on and it didn't work. The front desk clerk came up and she couldn't get it to work and moved us to another room. The jacuzzi room in the pictures is actually the honeymoon suite. So the new room had the same bizarre layout with the shower/jetted tub combo in the room and no shower in the bathroom. By the time the tub was full, the water was cold and the jets had very little pressure. The jacuzzi room was the primary reason we stayed here. I don't know how the internet was as we couldn't connect and just used our cell phones. I did notice the toilets were low just like others have mentioned. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable, but overall unremarkable hotel.
Love best western hotels, this was very nice place to relax and comfort was excellent. I was going to point pleasant for the first time so I chose the closest best western to the location. The pool was clean and always warm for being outside too. Breakfast was good, continental. Room was good, I got the king bed with whirlpool. I wouldn't get it again with whirlpool because it was not like out of this world great but it's nice for those who like it. Check in provide a pamphlet of attractions to go and restaurants. Overall experience from check in to check out was great. Would go again? Yes!
The hotel was close enough to the beach that it wasn't a hassle to get there but far enough away to avoid the noise and traffic. The room fit my group comfortably and had a nice view of garden area. Spacious bathroom with pleasant scented toiletries. Friendly staff. The pool towels offered could have been larger and more absorbent. Overall enjoyed my experience and would stay here again.
I attended a wedding reception in the summer. Most of the staff was congenial. Food was good. I was impressed with how great the banquet facility looked (it was updated since my previous visit).
Everything you'd expect from a hotel. Its in nice shape. Clean. No complaints other than there's nothing open near by late at night to get real non vending machine food but if you ghet there at a normal hour and have a car you'll have a great time. They serve really good breakfast
